Ekin Çekiç was born in Istanbul in 1996. He continues his productions in Istanbul. In 2015, he started his education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Photography Department and continues his education at the same school in the master's program.
In 2019, he won first place in the International 212 Photography Competition with his photography series selected for Mamut Art Project. He has participated in many exhibitions and festivals such as Kıraathane Istanbul, Karşı Sanat Çalışmaları, Galerie der Künstler Munich, Istanbul Photobook Festival, Bursa Photography Festival, ACCEA/NPAK Yerevan and TÜYAP Art Fair.
Ekin Çekiç produces singular and serial works on subjects such as urbanization, public space, political ecology in his photography series.
